strawberry and rhubarb notes define the aromatics of this wine and are backed by hints of cinnamon and oregano

There is good volume to the unusually supple and round mid-palate that possesses good power and verve before firming up considerably on the moderately long and reasonably complex finish

The harvest comes exclusively from a locality specific to the town of Lugny which is in the form of a plateau of 105 ha dominated clay-limestone

Also some butter and rum raisin notes with lots of juicy acidity. Very long on the palate for the varietal with a contrast of sweet honey and salty minerality. It finishes with racy zippiness. A very versatile wine that is great with appetizers and lighter dishes but also nice as an aperitif.
