“Night Raid” hands Juried into “From These Hills”16x20 acrylic on canvas. based on a true story of discovery in my garage. I found this hunter curled up in a nest in the rafters. Snake will spend entire days hiding and tracking the activity of birds and can determine whether they are feeding the young or themselves. In the darkness the snake will find the nest and devour the young or the eggs. It is then that adult birds are less likely to detect a predator and attack.
