These wide brimmed hats were worn by the Cavaliers in England and the Musketeers in France in the 1600's. Similar wide brimmed hats were referred to as bonnets during England's Tudor era. As all of our structured hats the hat block is designed and made by us. We use a durable water resistant felt that once formed over the block will keep its shape.
