This image was taken right around Halloween when I visited Elitch Gardens in Denver

Last week I took advantage of the clear skies to capture sunrise over Denver

One of the newest buildings is at 999 17th Street in Denver which is the Prism

It was an early June morning as I made my way to Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge just south of Missoula

As I left the location some snowflakes were present as well

In telling the story of historic architecture is it the greater scene you should capture or the specific detail you find in the building itself. In visiting the Abbey in Bath, UK it was the detail which drew my eye as it was so detailed and telling of the story. Using a longer lens you can get that fine detail in the ceiling or other parts of the building as you walk around looking at this detail
