I headed into the foothills where I had a perspective looking down at a road below

On a windy spring day I was able to head up to the clock tower of East High School

This was exactly the case as the sun lit up the clouds for a couple of minutes during the first sunrise for the year over the skyline of Denver

Just prior to leaving I came across a group of flowers in a quiet part of the park and spent close to thirty minutes just on these flowers

It was a quick turnaround from when I got home to making it out to City Park in Denver

With the west facing beach the light was reflecting off of the waves as they gentle rolled onto the beach making my feet wet with the warm temperatures. Not a bad way to start a week of vacation.
