the 2007 Brut Cuvée Nicolas François is showing very nicely

As has been the case for a number of years now

(100% from Corton-Pougets)

so this note should be quite representative of the final commercial release

with more Barolo tannins than Burgundy

On the plus side there is more minerality if a bit less volume to the energetic and slightly more complex flavors that offer solid persistence on the balanced finish where a hint of bitter lemon character emerges.
