Clos Haut Peyraguey Size:12x750ml (from Mazis-Bas)A darker amber here, with tawny edging. Clear concentration, this has walnut, beeswax, hazelnut, saffron, clove and pepper. Feels more evolved than some of the others, but that allows the more savoury taste of an older wine to balance the creamy richness of the body. This also has quite clear honey as it opens; good quality overall, but a little further along in evolution. A yield of 18hl ha, 60% new oak for fermentation and ageing. 155g l residual
