so use the pin below the crown to release the hands for setting the time

Note the early geneva stripe type finish and the fat regulator index and skinny train wheels indicating early production

J W BENSON LONDON SMITHS MADE IN ENGLAND ROMAN NUMERAL DIAL DENNISON AQUATITE CASE C 1954 ici Normally found on the A404J W Benson tropical wristwatch by Smiths in a Dennison Aquatite case of approx 33. 3mm in diameter with a chromed case top and steel screw in back. The thickness is 10. 5mm. This has been fully overhauled. This example has a 16 jewel movement with the cruciform cut out dust cap, and other JWB refinements. Case numbered internally, as are the Dennison markings, 131950 . These c series J W Benson watches were made both before and after 1953. Movement
