Aromas of dark berries, licorice, dark chocolate and herbs complemented by an element of musky oak. Firmly built and intense, conveying an impression of energy to its dark berry and light herb flavors complicated by well judged oak. The tannins are firm and chewy but not dry, allowing the wine's sweet berry and spice flavors to linger and build. Turned a bit dry with air but this is serious juice.
