The Awakening of a Mother Hooked Cushion Covers The center of the tableMy inspiration for creating this work comes from motherhood. On my journey of self discovery, I realized that my identity is deeply intertwined with being a mother. Since my children came into the world, something unique and luminous awakened within me: my past self and my present self met, recognizing and embracing each other. It was as if every experience I had before becoming a mother found a new meaning. Together, past and present gained new
