Beach in Lofoten, Norway Building I decided to add anotherWhen I visited Norway and as I headed further north the days got longer and here in Lofoten the sun never set. While along these islands, I rented a car and explored this magnificent location on the northwest portion of the country. Driving south I encountered an area with a white sandy beach and stopped to walk along it for a while. Even so far north it was still mild, but not quite beach weather.
