The hue of each flower grows more intense toward the throat. Its dark red pattern on the dorsal provides an extra touch of character. John Coutts was hybridized by the Royal Botanic Garden, Kew, in the 1940s. This medium growing rhododendron has olive green elepidote foliage, and grows to
