Regan House owned by Wayne and Judith Gilmer, is a lovingly restored villa from 1910 – surrounded by beautiful established gardens and located on the Forgotten World Highway trail within the Stratford town boundary, Taranaki.

A perfect, intimate retreat for those who are visiting Taranaki for business, pleasure, exploring or pure relaxation. Regan House is centrally located, easily accessible to all key Taranaki locations and is a brief 10-minute walk to the main street of Stratford.

Offering a range of solutions from accommodation, garden tours or a wedding venue, Regan House is here for all to enjoy and we look forward to hearing from you and exceeding your expectations.

Regan House offers “The Regan Room” as Bed and Breakfast accommodation for your stay. Recently redecorated to encompass a look and feel of comfortable luxury, this generous room has all the conveniences and features of home, but with hotel standards.

Meet Your Hosts

Regan House was purchased in late 2014 by Wayne and Judith Gilmer, after previously owning Hathaway House (Stratford), that they operated as a Bed and Breakfast and garden/wedding venue. Regan House is an exciting venture and one that both Wayne and Judith saw the potential of, with the draw card of being involved in the hospitality industry again.
